The 26th Irish Classic & Vintage Motor Show

The 26th Irish Classic & Vintage Motor Show in Terenure, once again supported by AXA Insurance, is now around the corner, with only a few days to go to the 2nd of July, and classics are polished, tyres cleaned and the showground is coming to life with dance floors, club stands, car parks marked out and marquees being put up. The general public ticket sales online are going well, and you can pre-pay also online at Ireland’s premium show with 1,400 classic and vintage motors will this year include the new Audi R8 range of supercars and also Jaguar`s new range of cars.

As by now most of you will know, this year’s show is being held in support of Emma Naughton, who, at 21, is battling a rare cancer called Fibrolamellar. “As her parents Tom & Pauline Heavey are one of the classic car movement (Irish Vintage Scene), we would ask you to bring as many vintage and classic cars as possible to the show and ask all your friends to come and support Emma” explain the organising Irish Jaguar & Daimler Club; “if they cannot come, then ask them to buy a ticket online and give to a friend, or donate to Emma by buying tickets and not using them.” This year Dublin’s Lord Mayor will be opening the show at 2pm, and there will be music by three difference groups all day for you to listen or dance to. The three food courts have been retained, one in the centre of the show ground, one by the lake and the other near the Non-Club Stand area, serving all types of food at reasonable prices; for the Classic Car on Display entrance, breakfast will be served from 8am to 11am for €5. The Irish Jaguar & Daimler Club Committee hope to make the show more interesting for all and increase the quantity overall with your help, and are looking forward to seeing you on the day.
